In 1979, a group known as Emerald City FC formed to bring select soccer to the youth of Seattle. Their mission was simple- to teach skills and develop players. What started out as a small venture has grown into a club of 30 teams, over 450 players, and countless state championships under its belt.  Though the club has grown, the mission has remained- teaching skills and developing players.

For over 26 years, Emerald City FC has been the premier soccer club of Seattle. That means the best of the best come here to play. 

Serious about playing youth soccer at the highest level? Try-outs for Emerald City FC are held once a year, prior to each season, in February/March. Even though you may have missed try-outs, we occasionally invite talented "guest" players to come out and participate in our team practices. Prospective guest players for our team would need to be born during, or after, August 1st, 1995, and are encouraged to contact the team manager, Marja Brandon, or the coach, Jon Matsushita. If you do not meet the age requirements for our team, and you are interested in learning more about another team with Emerald City FC, please consult the coach directory.
